Fiat
at the 2001 Frankfurt Motorshow

Fiat showed the new Stilo interior for the first time at Frankfurt.
The stand was dominated by the Stilo (with two on rotating stands, four open for examination and three functional display models).
Most of the other models were also present (only the Seicento was missing), as well as a Formula 1 Ferrari (plus a film of Schumacher and Barichello driving the new Stilo).
As usual the theme was bright colours.

The new Stilo Abarth sees the first official Abarth model since the Strad 130TC, a long awaited rebirth. With a 170bhp 20V 5-cylinder and Selespeed system hopefully it will live up to the name.

A five-door car was shown fitted with the 1.9 JTD engine, whilst a three-door car (below) demonstrated Fiat's continued support of the Autonomy programme for disabled drivers.

There were also some models displaying features of the Stilo, one demonstrated the flexibility of the interior of the five door (left) with tilting and sliding seats, one demonstrated the airbags (below) whist a complete structure (below left) enabled the strength of the car to be highlighted.
