It is powered by a 1998cc turbocharged
engine, a 16V version without the turbo or a turbodiesel, a 1997cc JTD unit.
The all new replacement for the Zeta, the Phedra, was released at the 2002 Geneva Motorshow.
At
the Turin Motorshow in April 1994 Lancia launched it's first ever people
carrier or MPV. A joint venture with Fiat (Ulysse)
and Peuget/Citroen (and built in a factory in France), the Lancia version was aimed at a more luxurious market
as befits the Lancia name. A high level of trim and equipment was standard,
including ABS, and electric everything. Standard seating was for five,
with up to seven avalable as options - accessed through large sliding doors on the sides.
