The Vanessa, released at the 1966 Turin Motorshow, was a car designed specifically for female drivers. Using the Fiat 850 Idromatic mechanicals (including automatic transmission) it featured opening side windows to ease access to the rear seat, integrated baby seats, swivelling front seat bases (claimed to ease use when wearing a miniskirt !) and a variety of storage spaces.
